Our team pride themselves on achieving the highest standards of passenger care and treating our passengers as we would like to be treated ourselves. We have both full and part time crew members available, all are trained to lift passengers from their rooms and into the ambulance and then into their destination. Our crews have first aid training and are trained to administer oxygen if necessary. All posts within Phoenix Private Ambulance Service Ltd will be subject to Enhanced (CRB) Criminal Records Bureau clearance.
Our ambulances
Our ambulances are all equipped for non-emergency passenger transfers. We are able to provide transport for stretcher, wheelchair and walking passengers and all vehicles are fitted to ensure passengers travel safely and securely.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission, Our vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained to a high standard. Our stretcher vehicles are equipped with up to date stretchers and lock systems tested to meet BS EN 1789:2000 standards. Wheelchair restraints conform to the dynamic test requirements of ISO 10542-1.
All our vehicles have extra room for luggage for longer journeys and transfers. All carry the Phoenix logo and name but no sirens or flashing blue lights.
Where do we work
Our fleet is based in Leamington Spa and although most of our work is centred around the Midlands we are able to provide transport anywhere in the UK. We have recently carried passengers to Anglesey, Glasgow, West Yorkshire, Cornwall, Norfolk and London. This is in addition to regular journeys to Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry, Stratford Upon Avon, Alcester, Rugby, Northampton, Kettering, Leicester and Lutterworth to name but a few.
